Brand new 50mm lens with something visible when looking through lens

However it's not visible peaking through the camera when the lens is on it. It doesn't appear on the photos I take either.

Here's a photo of the questionable spot/crack/damage:

Heya,

Blow off the front/rear elements. See if it's internal.

Looks like a big chunk of dust/lent.

If it's inside the lens, return it for a new one.

There was what looked like a small chip on inner glass. Could only see it on certain angles so wasn't easy to spot.
