Well many years ago with my first camera a T 70 ( still have it) I loved waiting for the pics to come back to see if I had any good ones, then I had a few compacts over the years before I got a 350d. Move forward and a bit more time on my hands I decided to get back into this a bit as I enjoyed it but decided I would give this full frame thing a go and with that a 6d was ordered did look at the 5dmk3 but couldn't just fit at my level
Got it with the 24/105 and also have a 100/400 as I like taking motor sport and car show pics, so far I am trying to learn the camera as it's moved on quite a bit also got the free for a year creative program and so also trying to learn Lightroom 5.
This raw file also takes a bit of getting your head round plus takes an age to upload pics but I hope to improve plus this forum looks full of great advise and people

First attempt with the camera and 100/400

Cheers
Was my first outing with the 6d and 100/400 last Saturday at rally day at Castle Combe, took over 130 pics of static and moving cars but have only uploaded a few at the moment.
Found the lens great and easy to work with, the 6d a bit more tricky but just need time with it I think
Also used it on the orient express and was amassed at the low light performance with the 24/105 as don't have a flash right now and couldn't believe the pics it took, I will get a flash at some point but even so the difference from my 350d is massive
Talking about flash is the 430 a good choice or would it be a bit over kill to have just for the odd pic ?

Cheers all
