This was my firs DSLR and I was very excited to get it. It was amazing for its time. For a 3 megapixel camera, it took some pretty good shots.

I waited two more generations and bought a 6 Megapixel 10D crop camera for the same price as what they're charging now for a 6D.

I remember being amazed that I could take a picture and print it and have the print in my hands the same day. It used to take around a week with film.

Quite a difference ... not sure I can find any D30 images, but have an entire collection of 30D ...

I passed on the D30 and D60. But jumped ship with the release of the 10D. It was a game changer in the prosumer niche. You can only fish for so long before you gotta throw a stick of dynamite in the water.
