Ok, if a friend advised me a lens that is 70-200 but he can't afford that Canon mk2 for sports, then is this Tamron one good enough fast to track for him? say he may use it on 7D or 7D2 if not 1 series or 5 series camera.

Yes, if the Canon isn't financially feasible, the Tamron is the next best option.

Ok, thanks, i wrote that down.

it's quite good, refer to this series shot in really low light: https://photography-on-the.net …hp?p=16992903&postcount=6

If you have a good body, you'll focus well. For me, it was extremely fast and accurate. For me, moving to the mk2 made more sense, since I can use it for incidental wildlife with extenders.

I don't want this lens unless i damage or lose my 70-200 mk2, but i can recommend this lens to friends who can't afford Canon mk2, and i don't care which bodies they have if they can't afford too, i am happy with 70-200 mk2 using it on my 1DX and 1D3

Love that shot and I miss my WRX.

I think what you wrote can be said for any and all lens set ups.

Yes... if you plan on using extenders I recommend the MK2.
