Here is another before/after shot, this time i am happy that i could manage to have almost nearly perfect straight lines with TS lens, most shots i've done before with 24 and 17 i wasn't happy with lines, but this time i was very close and then with PS i managed to have right or much better, so you can see what i've get from that lens and recovery from the camera.

Before:

After:
IMAGE: http://s26.postimg.org/uo30vp589/DSC0386_after.jpg

And here are the screen shots of the PS adjustments i've did with ACR:

1. Original [opening]

2. ACR adjustments

3. Lens corrections [Profile: Canon 14mm II]
http://s26.postimg.org …_10_01_at_11_35_02_AM.png (external link)

Soon i will upload the RAW file of that shot with another 2 shots bracketed for same shot for HDR, would like to see what you can see, i lost my magic with HDR so far.

Here is the screen shots pics, i don't know why they resized when i uploaded it, but here you can have it at original size:

http://www.mediafire.com …hots+A7R+ACR+recovery.zip (external link)

And here are the RAW files of that above shot, i used the underexposed as sample for above:

http://www.mediafire.com …z3rah24halfd/_DSC0386.ARW (external link)
http://www.mediafire.com …44ngogkg52xd/_DSC0387.ARW (external link)
http://www.mediafire.com …e39yoccvg8jb/_DSC0388.ARW (external link)

I should really use this lens more often to get used to it, so when i can travel one day in the future then i should be happy using this lens at best if possible.

I will practice with interior architecture or design of our house until the weather becoming nice then i will do outdoor shots somewhere.

I do find that the built-in level of A7 series is not as precise as those featured in 5DIII. I rely not just on the level, but visual cues as well. The grid view option does help line up the verticals, however.

True, in fact this is what i was using to make it works, also this time i used my old tripod, Manfrotto which is attached with 3-way geared head, before i was using a ballhead which is a pain in ..... if i didn't use a grid lines and level, so maybe i should buy another head to make it easier job for those lines rather than my ball head which is great for something else such as landscapes.

it's worth it. Thank you. You are the reason i opted to sent it in. :)

Just received mine back today; I haven't had a chance to take any pictures, but I slipped my kit lens on -- no movement at all on my mount, either. Feels much better, and I'm glad I sent it in. The slip I received was identical to the one above ...
