No not LR here but that is OK too.

There are several way to get this done.
Possibly easiest is Topaz Lab's "Denoise". Only one single click and you choose and try noise removal and sharpening as you want from the suggested source image list.

If you are LR user, from main menu on the right, come down to "Detail". Once clicked, play with "Luminesce" knob to the desirable level.

If you are CS user, 0ther option in Photoshop is to go from "Filter" to Noise, choose "Reduce Noise" here and play with the levels. First "Strength" then "Reduce Color Noise" and lastly sharpening, to get effect you want.

The other dedicate to noise removal only program is "NeatImage" or "Ninja". You can get plug ins for CS also, so image opens directly there without importing exporting. You need to learn to use the software.

Many other programs also do this however what you want to pay attention to, is;

- By removing noise, you do remove detail. So just like sharpening, being moderate and subtle is the key.
- Make noise removal directly from image source and preferably before any other action except size decrease for web display, never after adding sharpening as it only degrades the image. Noise removing wares, also add sharpening by default, but if not adequate, you can always add it later on with least untoward effect.
- Make image set to high magnification such as 200 % or likewise to be able to judge the changes on a selected area of image.

Bottom line, Be subtle and all should go fine.

Cheers.

Canon RAW also has the luminescence reduction at the RAW level. Often better to hit it there before CS

This is the time each month that I like to sit outside in the evenings and try to get planes crossing in front of the Moon. I missed a really good one yesterday. I was distracted by a different plane on the horizon and didn't see it until it was too late. Oh well. Anyway, I thought this was a pretty cool shot of the Moon and some clouds that drifted by:
