What lens did you use for the last two? I like that fish eye look.

Rokinon 8mm 3.5

I enjoy it and always had fun with fisheye lenses during my skateboarding days so I picked up the 8mm to mess with. Has given me some neat shots.

It's a neat look. Images are sharp and detailed. I may look to grab one.

It's a manual lens so when they come out decent it's mostly due to me getting lucky. But, I do recommend it as something fun to add to the bag.

I have the Rokinon 85mm 1.4 and I like it a lot. You're are right about the manual focus but when you get it right they look good. You got it right on the ones you posted.

Thank you kindly! Their 85mm was actually something I had ordered online and then canceled out of fear of using a manual lens and possibly missing shots.

This 8mm is a ton of fun for me. I know it's not for everyone but I like to bring it with me to get some non-typical angles at places. I have found that if I have it sent just right, I can get some good sharp images from it without too many points being out of focus. With my new 60d it's a joy to use down on the ground with the live view running and the screen out and tilted. Gives a nice perspective from a bugs POV.

I purchased a confirmation chip off eBay and at 2.8 or larger it is spot on for focus.
At f1.4 which is why I bought the lens it can be harder.
Practice did help. Here's one wide open at f1.4.

I dig it! I love my 50mm 1.4 for the same sort of stuff. Now, I'm waiting for my Tamron 90mm 2.8 macro to hurry up and get here.
