Thanks John, I was using a 600 f/4 for the long stuff. Was also shooting with a 100-400.

Is the 100-400 pretty good in daylight?

Some of my Auburn football shots. I know some may not care for the edits I've done but with sports photos starting to all look the same I like to stick out a bit. The originals are always recoverable

Those are nice. The processing in #3 is perfect.

Here's a few from my game. I didn't do very well action wise, but I partly blame the game itself (it was 3-0 at the half). Action shots were done with a 1DX and 600 f/4.

EchoShotz, I like #3 also and the processing.

Abruckse,
Nice pics. How do you like the 600 f/4 vs a 400 f/2.8?

Andrew, even with the lack of action provided during the game your images are very nice, well done!

I love them both, though I tend to shoot better with the 400. It's harder to follow action sometimes with the 600. In terms of image quality, both are fantastic, though it's hard to beat the 600 in that magical 20-40 yard range (like the quarterback shot). Plus, it's nice to be able to sit in the endzone and pretty much cover all the action, except for the really close stuff.

EchoShotz, great shots. I like the processing, but it isn't something I would want to see all the time. But for the occasional change up, these are great. Nicely done.

Andrew, great stuff! I love 1, 3 and 4. I like that in tight kinda stuff.

#5 The smoke from the half time fireworks show left the stadium in a cloud of smoke and delayed the start of the second half 30-40 mins.
