33 hours and closing... I'm setting an alarm!!!

There's no need for that. I'm sure this board will blow up with threads expressing disappointment and disdain once Canon announces their new finance plans. :lol:

Something with 46MP. I hope. :)

Something with 14-15-stops of dynamic range. I hope. I hope.

It seems impossible that Canon would put a Sony Exmor sensor in their camera...so maybe Canon is now "seeing the impossible". I hope. I hope. I hope.

BTW, that ad reads like something you might see on Engrish.com...oddly worded. :lol:

I'm guessing any of the following:

* White 5d3 with a white 24-105 kit lens package

* Mirror-less t6i

* A new film camera body

* A new lens mount system of cameras/lenses not at all compatible with EF, EF-s or M

* An update to the PowerShot N Facebook camera

* 3D Stereo camera/lens system that also shoots 3D selfies

* 7DmkIII

* They've got a smart watch too

33 hours to go

Are Canon really likely to announce something "impossible" just before releasing the 7DII to the public?

Most likely a white G7xII...

Maybe it's a 18 stop dynamic 150 megapixel sensor 35mm sensor.

yea that's in 23 days. this is in 11 hours. it's not camera related. Canon have a loads of other market to look after. This could be (and more than likely related to one of those)

If they are going to release something at photoplus then I would guess in the next couple of weeks we will see some rumours.

I sure hope it's a manufacturing process to allow more MP (and better MP) onto sensors, but I'd also be fine with a mirrorless rebel with EVF...

With that said, I'm fully prepared for it to be something painfully boring.

I agree it won't be camera related (lens/flash maybe), at least no where near a pro-sumer range. What kind of idiot would release the 7d2 and before anyone even gets it announce an advance that is better.
