You know what I like to do for images like that ^ is to do the skin soften preset on all the skin, raise the clarity to -50 (pretty whatever half way back to 0 is) and raise shadows a little bit. It doesn't seem like it'd make a big difference, but you get a nice soft look to the skin (that isn't TOO soft like the preset) and then the dark spots under eyes and chins and stuff, come out just a little bit more. Idk if this is a good adjustment or not, but it looks better imo

Bodies: Canon 5D3 - Canon 1D4
Lenses: Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 DG OS HSM SPORTS - Canon 100mm F2.8 L - Canon 70-200mm F2.8 L - - Canon 85mm F1.2 L V2 - Canon 40mm F2.8 Pancake
Extras: 2 Neewer TT520 Speedlites - Manfrotto 3021BPRO and ballhead

I've actually changed my Soften Skin preset so that it's no longer at -100 clarity and +25 Sharpness. I dialed it back to -50 and +12, and saved it over the original. -100 is just too much for most people.

But, I'll usually go in with an additional brush to dodge the shadow areas a little bit.

Sorry for the wait. My setup is kinda butchered while on det in Misawa, and the internet connection is awful.

Nice work.
I assume that gradient adjustment and brushed-on exposure adjustment were on the sky?
