Arbuckle Wildlife Management Area, Frostproof Florida. October 5th, 2:29pm. I was hiking to get some fresh air and recharge before a new work week with a friend. A flooded trail ahead forced us to turn back the way we came, but not before capturing the moment.

Excellent shot. Well composed. I would not hesitate to frame this as a huge enlargement above a couch.

Reminds me of hiking in the Big Cypress s.Florida and watching a snake SWIM across the trail because the trail was under 8-12 inches of water for miles. Thanks for the memories conjured, beautiful capture of a wonderful environment.

Thanks for the comments, and views. Nothing recharges my happiness battery like a walk in the woods, especially with camera in hand!
