I can't say that I like it Jeff, but I can say that I love it!
Visual interest abounds from the main subject to the surrounding environment to the background. I would have had an extremely difficult time deciding where to crop on this capture because like Al I love a good "snag". :)

I think it's great though the big vertical trunk right in the center seems out of place maybe clone that out and see what you got. It's a beautiful shot, don't get me wrong my friend that one little trunk is a tad distracting in my eyes....

I agree Bret that the trunk looks a bit like a hydro pole but it is what it is so I just left it as it had grown over the last 100 years or so. Theres a down side to just about every shot we take so Im just going to leave it as is and go hunting for a better shot out in the bush where I belong.
