Oct 15, 2014 01:20 | #3512 I have a question for those of you who own Canon 17-55/2.8 EFS lens. I wonder if anyone tried it on A7r and how does it perform in light of the fact that Canons 10-18 EFS actually performs good in certain range? my youtube https://www.youtube.com …b_confirmation=1%5B%2Furl

navydoc Cream of the Crop More info | I tried a couple of test shots with mine and it seemed to have worked fine, just like any other Canon EF lens. I had my camera set to auto detect so the scene was viewed as it should. Crop factor on the a7r is 1.5 instead of 1.6. Raw files are 4800 x 3200 rather than the full 7360 x 4912. You know how you can with certain lenses, like Canon 10-18, or Sony's own 10-18, between 12-18mm it does not vignette in full frame mode? my youtube https://www.youtube.com …b_confirmation=1%5B%2Furl

Sorry, with the 17-55, the image circle is always present from 17mm to 55 in full frame mode. I saw no difference in the size of the circle regardless of where I moved the zoom to.
