If you use this lens for stars would you please post a 1x1 crop of the stars. Here's what I'm getting with mine. On the larger stars the left side is crisp but the right side flares out to a blur. Body is a Canon 6D.

Had to sell my rokinon early in the year but am now in a position to own another. This time it's the samyang (ebay) which I found to be soft all over at all apertures. Notified seller who said they would replace. I actually got the new one within 3 days of sending off the old, which, considering the old went to Sydney and the new one came from Hong Kong had me puzzled. Apparently, some companies are claiming to hold stock in Australia to enable sales to those who are only searching for Australian stock. They have offices in Australia but send from Hong Kong/China. Anyways, have tested the new one and it's fine (seems 2 metres at f11 produces best/sharpest dof images on this whereas it was approx 1.5 metres f8 on the roky) ) Now I just need to find time to put it back to use in the street

One from the old rokinon:

Just leave it on infinity and snap away :) unless you want to focus on something closer, it's not bad at all.

Manual focus with this lens is no problem and is not annoyng but it is taking time to make a picture.
