One of the coolest shots I've seen in a long time [with this lens].

Thanks! :)

Couple more from a recent vacation. Both of these shots are "Fused" with Photomatix Pro. I shot 3-shot exposure brackets (hand-held, high speed shutter setting on 7d). I've noticed this lens really doesn't like sun flare at all. The mosaic shot had to be cleaned up quite a bit in PS, unfortunately. Still, it's a really fun lens to play with.

Different perspective from the one I posted above. Like this one better.

Anyone using this lens with a 70D, and if so what sort of results are you getting? Many thanks

Have used it with a 10D, 40D, and 60D with absolutely not problems. I know that doesn't really answer your question but I can see no reason why it wouldn't work the same on a 70D.

Thanks the 70D is the 60D upgrade I think. Can you get that level of distortion on the APS c sensor? Probably the question I should have asked?

On an APS c sensor the effective focal length is about 13mm, so no, you won't get that level of distortion.

Roseyposey: my shots above were taken with the 7D, so I would expect your results on a 70D to be pretty similar.

Ride5000: your shots 1, 2, and 5 above are very cool. I especially like the elevator shot.

This lens is a great "vacation" lens, although I've used it on a few paying jobs to get thrown-in shots that clients will enjoy but may not use externally. Those throw-in shots are usually well received in that regard as well.

It's a fun, and useful, lens!
