This is what makes this lens so special to me. Environmental portraits with bokeh!

Cool! How did you fix your af issues? Sigma dock?

Edit: wow, I ought to try out the dot tune method. Always was just using a random spot on the floor or wall to tune.

Went into local camera store to pick up a used copy of this lens to find out they sold their last one. So now I have to wait a couple days before mine comes in.

I don't post much anymore... but I'm still using this lens at every possible chance.... I've actually cut my gear list down substantially... just this 35, the Sigma 15, and Canon 70-200... that seems to keep me happy these days.

I am considering getting a 35 / 1.4 lens for use on 7D (and get rid of 30/1.4) and 5DIII.
But still got a question about the dock.

When required to use the dock, would that work for two different bodies?
Or do I need to use dock on one and MFA on other body?

The dock will calibrate your lens based on the body it is attached to at the time you calculated the 4 MFA values that are required. There is a chance that after you calibrate the lens it wont be calibrated properly for your second body and in camera MFA would be your only option
