1Kind,

I use L brackets on my camera bodies. They have a tapped 1/4 20 hole on the bottom so easy on and off for tripod use.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant the strap detatches from the tripod mount threading on the camera in a few seconds so you can easily remove the strap to then attach a tripod plate or whatever.

There are some tripod plates that have another threaded hole to attach a strap to, you might want to see if there is one that is compatible with your tripod.

Ordered an L-plate for that reason.

I have the Cinch 2 and didn't really consider the new one for that reason. I use the tripod plate a lot and it saves me the price of an L-plate. I'm very happy with my 'two'.

My Loop 3 arrived yesterday, had the chance to open it and take a few photos this morning.
Already had some "bruises" on it when I took it out of the bag it seems, on the machined part as well as the loop attached to it has a 'nick' out of it!

Looks fabulous though at the same time....looking forward to testing it out.

Mine just came in and liking the feel. Tried it a bit and it's comfy. I cannot wait to actually take it out.

Hi, looking for feedback from anyone who has used the Loop 3 with a 1D body with e.g. 70-200 attached.

I have used it with a 5D3+BG+70-200LII so would be about the same and it worked fantastic!

Thanks. I'm using the Cinch with a similar set up, but I find that the strap isn't hefty enough to support the weight. But on the other hand, I like how it lies against the body.

With the one attachment point, how stable do you find the set up with the Loop 3? How does it affect using the vertical grip?

I just discovered this page and this is cool. I have a 7d what size do I need? The cinch with the machined parts looks better then the plastic.
