Grey-throated sunbird (Anthreptes griseigularis) (external link) by alabang (external link), on Flickr

The grey-throated sunbird (Anthreptes griseigularis) is a species of bird in the Nectariniidae family. It is found in a wide range of semi-open wooded habitats in the northern and eastern part of the Philippines. It is often considered a subspecies of the brown-throated sunbird, but the two differ consistently in measurements and plumage, and there is no evidence of intergradation between them.

ping me when you have firmed up your sched peter, if my schedule allows, i will join you :)

mr jun, want to sama with us and give your tamzooka a work out :)

Peter2516 wrote in post #17183792 (external link)
Nice I will definitely let you know. Mr jun got the Tamzooka already but if he wants to try mine that is not a problem. :)

First of all great contribution from the regulars & newcomers. Keep 'em coming.

Sorry Peter and Jo I haven't been myself lately. Kinda having a bit of glass half-empty feelings. I'm not sure if it's being homesick away from Vancouver were taking it's toll or the lack of birds in my area was the cause of it or not. But I think I am over it now. I also have discovered an area in Calgary that's worth exploring. For those who are familiar to Calgary it's called Fish Creek Provincial park. So stay tuned :-)

Anyways I think my Tamzooka has the latest f/w as I am not having difficulty using it. It is on the heavy side but I don't consider it a problem.

I guess I really shouldn't blame my surroundings. Theres always something to shoot at if you try hard enough.
