Yeah, when I preordered it said GET IT BY: Oct 30....which to me means it would be delivered tomorrow . Oh well. I am excited but not lacking for a very capable camera for Halloween shots of the kids.

I was a BB pre-order and so far no notifications. But the compact flash and sd are sitting here ready to take the plunge.

If I saw that I would expect the same.

I have my cards too. I ordered from Adorama and have no idea on when the camera will ship.

BestBuy must think its Christmas keeping us in the dark building the anticipation.

Well so far this morning my order has gone from payment validated (which is normal for a preorder) to "waiting for fullfillment - orders usually ship in 1 - 2 weeks" all the way back to order received (one step before payment has been validated) with no other item status. I'm not optimistic about getting it anytime soon.

7D2 now listed as Temp. Out of Stock on Amazon.

Available at two Best Buys near me so they are in.

I just got an email from B&H this morning stating the camera is still out of stock as they have not yet received their supply. I pre ordered on the first day of availability.

I did note that Amazon has the 7D Mark listed as number 1 in DSLR cameras, which is not surprising. Either Amazon sold out their allotment or it has not yet been released. They are selling them from third party suppliers at the moment and the third party supplier has changed in the last few minutes. They are selling like hotcakes.

It will be interesting to see when the next production run is delivered to the authorized dealers. I'll be watching carefully. I'm in no rush but I would like to have mine before Christmas, if possible. I won't buy from a third party supplier at Amazon. I prefer to get one from Amazon itself for the return options, should that be necessary.

This morning my order status at amazon has changed to:

Preparing for Shipment
Delivery estimate: Friday, October 31, 2014 by 8pm

I hope it ships FedEx as they deliver much earlier in the day than UPS.

More hopeful today than yesterday.

Cool, good for you! Mine is now back to waiting for fulfillment - I was very late getting a preoder in so I'm not surprised. If I find it locally I'll just cancel with BB.

I'm in Vancouver, BC, Canada. I pre-ordered (locally) the day after it was announced. I called Beau Photo last night and they said I can come pick it up on the 30th (today). Woot wooooooot!

I saw on Canon Rumors that Adorama says they will be shipping out pre-orders today. The next question is where do you fit on the pre-order list list in relation to the number of cameras they received. I hope I am on the shipment list for today. I ordered on Sept. 17.
