Just got a UPS notification on my phone. Camera has been shipped from Adorama will be at my office by 10:30 AM in the morning.

And checking the order on Adorama, to my surprise, it will not be only the camera body and SD card but also the grip. The only thing that will be back ordered will be the extra battery.

:D:D:D

I should have ordered mine right after the announcement. I knew I was going to get it but didn't order it till last week from Adorama. I wonder how long it will take?

I thought Adorama said they had enough to meet their preorder commitments?

Does anyone know if the latest LR will be able to convert the raw files of this machine gun

No it will not. You will need to wait for a month or so. Use DPP 4.1 in the mean time.

He may have been late enough that they ran out of time boxing up shipments.

Whew, after the fiasco with my credit card being denied (think it was due to getting a new card with a new exp date), I didn't think mine was going to ship today but luckily it did (thanks Helen :) ).

Yours states the time? Mine just says by the end of the day which I hope is before 5pm since it is getting delivered to an office.

Yeah, that is what I heard too. Oh well, guess all of my purchases will be through B&H from now on. Adorama has the worst stocking/shipping issues of any of the major sellers, and this isn't just with pre-order stuff. I should have went with B&H as I have vowed to do from previous Adorama frustrations, but they sucked me in with the idea of free 1 day shipping. Fat lotta good it does you if they ship 10 days late to begin with.

I was a late preorder (wednesday). Wanted to see all the pro opinions and as maples before I pulled the trigger. Finally did and from BH and shouldve went with Adorama, my order still says on order. Hopefully I'll get one next week!! Adorama seems to have things together on this behalf.

HAHAHAHA, how crazy is this: Just after posting my previous post, I get an email from Adorama. It will be here tomorrow by end of day. Now, can someone help me pry my foot out of my mouth, its kinda uncomfortable. :)

The good news is I just got my shipping email from Amazon.com with a tracking number and confirmation of delivery tomorrow.

The bad news is it is coming UPS. Our delivery today (non-camera and not next day) was not on the porch till 7:30PM. (FedEx is usually here between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm)

Lets hope next day shipping and signature required means a more mid day delivery.

How this all works in to Halloween and Trick or Treat should be interesting.

If you have pre-order, post-order or CS issues with Adorama, at any time, it's really helpful if you can email me directly: Helen@adorama.com (external link).

I can attest to the above. Even, if you just have questions about customer service or delivery modes. Don't hesitate emailing her.

Thanks,
Helen
