I have made my first trial with motorsport photography. Here is the shot taken last Saturday during the final stage of Swedish Mastership Rally. C&C highly appreciated.

It looks good for a first attempt IMO. I've never tried tracking cars or anything besides shooting cars on DYNOs but this looks pretty good. I would recommend working on tracking a bit more and trying different speeds to see if you can get it sharper on the hood or the number or w/e, but this looks pretty good :). More editing would make this look less like it's SOOC

Definately would say a bit of work on the panning and also would suggest pushing the colours up a little to give it more punch. What were your settings?

Nice first attempt, now you just have to keep doing it, over and over again, and you'll get better and better !

Nice start. You could enhance the colors to make the car "pop" from the background. Work with the panning more to get your focus and sharpness up. It's a fine line to walk and practice and ruthless self-criticism will drive you to get it just where you want to be. I know it is against my grain to discard an image - any image! but it makes you better.

^ But discard we must ! :-)

The last long weekend of shooting I did, I shot over 7,000 exposures over 3 days, and my large set I felt was good enough to show was 120 or so images. It does become painful sometimes, trying to make that final cut.
