Nice. I guess you were at 600mm for that? I have a similar shot with my 7D and I used my 300 with a Canon 2X and Sigma 2X but could not get it quite as crisp. Using two converters did not help. Pretty good for hand held.

My 7D2 was shipped today.

It would be nice to have some 7D1 vs 7D2 or 70D vs 7D2 comparison with high ISO.

Has anyone tried 400mm f5.6 + TC 1.4x to see how auto focus responds?

Very helpful. Thanks. Lots to learn coming from the 40D.

<edit>
After watching all 6 videos I am amazed at the customization available with this camera. Handing a highly customized 7D2 to another 7D2 owner would be like handing them and entirely different camera.

I liked that too. They thought of almost everything.

If it is all about high iso, then i would like to see 1DX vs 7DII in high ISO, higher than 3200

My first "ever" decent woodpecker shot. Actually, I thinks it's my 2nd GSW shot, but this is the best one, by far.

ISO 160000 (!) looks great! ;)

I have to agree I am impressed. This camera is really looking good. I have to say I am impressed by what I see so far.

I am lucky that i got married when i was in a college, and have babies even before i started to have a job, then things got easier, but as i said, if i didn't get married at all and no kids i will have too much gear, i can't say if i am not a student because then i may not have a job to afford things without a degree here.

Now if i got another job, i will continue to afford things but slowly, first thing is i need to travel after so long time, then i will buy 2 cameras and 3 lenses per year.

I think there's a joke in there someplace about the "indecent" ones, but all I'll say is that's a very nice shot. :)

For new owners, these 6 video tutorials are informative.

That is a nice shot he took - makes me want to look into those 150-600 superzooms! :)

And medium ISO, I would like to see compares of 800, 1600 and 3200 for the two bodies <please>!

I just want to say, I HATE UPS! I am ALWAYS the last person to be delivered to on a route. It absolutely ticks me off to no end. It basically means that when a signature is required, I have to sit and wait at my house all day long because if I am not here, I will miss it. And they just say, we will be there before 4:30. And we all know that if I left at anytime before 4:30 for even a fraction of a second, they would show up. But if I sit here all day long, they will get here at 4:35. I WANT MY CAMERA!!!!!!! And I can't charge it until it gets here. And I can't take it with me tonight until its charged! And I don't have a clue how to use this thing and need time to read basic controls!!

Yes... Im IMPATIENT!!

Mine came about 30% charged...
