LOL... sorry I asked. ;)

I've never shot with anything larger than my 70D with the grip, hence the question. I've handled higher end cameras at the store, but doesn't give me a real feel for what they are like to shoot.

Next time, I'll ask if people are satisfied with the shade of black. ;)

I think if I got a 7D2 along with a 400 f5.6 L, it would still come out pretty good on weight.

Last kit:
Canon 6D
16-35L II
70-200F4 IS w/ tripod foot
Massive filter kit of 4x4 and 4x6 filters

New kit:
Canon 7D2 or 70D
Sigma 8-16
400L f5.6 w/tripod foot
1.4 TC III
Limited filter kit of ND and polarizers. (1/6 weight of previous filters)

That would be one heck of an awesome backcountry nature photography kit. Food over excessive gear any day!

Keyan and other current or previous 70D owners,

How does it feel in your hands compared to the 70D?

I can't speak to the 70D, but compared to the 7DMkI it feels a bit more solid, but the biggest thing of note for me is that the lens mount is much tighter and seems to have a small gasket/pad around it that the original did not.

Just one image at ISO 1600, with Ef 500/4IS MKI, f/4, 1/1000 sec. Weather is really bad today in Ohio.

Excellent! Is this RAW or JPG? Did you post processed the image?
