Yes, I will have to start learning it from scratch. I dont use it a lot. I mainly use Photoshop CS5.

So am I but it is raining today and will be for the next 3 days. At the 26 November am going to Kgalagadi National Park and hope to get some good wildlife shots. In the meantime I am going to set up my lenses with the new 7D.

Just saw this on one of those Canon learning Videos.... sounds interesting, but 40$... wtf

It is primarily used for lenses with wider apertures and manual focus. The specs say f/1.8-2.8. Unless you heavy into manual focus you don't need it.

hello I added the canon 7d to my collection thought id share but don't know how to post a picture

First decent rain we've had out here. 800 ISO with the 100-400. I'm taking it out to Pt. Reyes today with my 500mm in search of raptors and elk.

Most folks post the photos on a photo service site. I use Zenfolio but there are lots of choices, some paid and some free. After getting your photo on the Internet someplace you place a link to the photos using the Insert Image (mountain icon) in the online editor.

I hope you don't mind. I ran that through my sharpening action.

Has any one tried using there RRS L bracket from the original 7D, and will it work with the new MK II

I am dying in trying to learn DPP because Ive just never used it. I do all my raw processing through photoshop and always have. Such a learning curve for me with both the 40D-->7d II and CS5-->DPP. Hopefully I will get the hang of this. I swear I feel like I did 6 years ago when I picked up my first DSLR.

I would like to share my photo from this morning, but cannot figure out how to grab images from flickr. Havent used it in year and they've changed that on me as well lol
