I have a 6am, earliest snow in SC recorded history, 16000 ISO photo

I am dying in trying to learn DPP because Ive just never used it. I do all my raw processing through photoshop and always have. Such a learning curve for me with both the 40D-->7d II and CS5-->DPP. Hopefully I will get the hang of this. I swear I feel like I did 6 years ago when I picked up my first DSLR.

I would like to share my photo from this morning, but cannot figure out how to grab images from flickr. Havent used it in year and they've changed that on me as well lol

Update: your image above is not showing for me. I know there is something you have to turn on to allow them to be embedded in another server, that might be the problem.

Looks like I probably will want to get a faster memory card. 45MB/s says only like 16 shots in Raw only, for the buffer.

Also the batteries definitely seem to drain faster on the Mark II vs. my 60D. But that is expected, because of the dual CPUs and AF working so much harder/faster.

GPS takes alot of juice as well. You can set the position update interval to the max 5 mins to help with that. Or of course, turn it off when not needed.

go to the shot on Flickr your want to share and in bottom right corner are 3 things 1 is an arrow going right open that pick bbcode and in the top box pick a size I use the first large then copy and paste whats in the box under that over into your post over here hope that makes sense

Yeah, I haven't even used the GPS yet, lol.

I'm gonna pick one or maybe even two of these up. Reviews are all good, and its like twice the capacity of the current batteries! For way less than the canon ones.

Does anyone have a 55-250 STM to try on their 7D2? If so, how does the STM keep up with that Tasmanian Devil for fast action?

I tried using the 50 1.8 II and my 135 F/2, which arent super fast normally, but they seemed to be pretty darn quick on the Mark II.

Woke up to snow falling in SC this morning. Earliest snow fall on record. Its funny because when I bought my 40D 6 years ago, I woke up the next morning and it was snowing, ran outside with no idea what I was doing and shot some pretty crappy photos. I ran out this morning and did basically the same thing lol. Ok, so maybe my first batch off the 7dII aren't AS BAD as those first off the 40D, but I definitely need to learn this camera.
