Thanks!

And also, from the same link, version 3.14.41 is also available which also supports the 7D2!
(Win XP and Vista are no longer supported)

All the details for both versions are on that page under their appropriate buttons.

Hmmm 4.1 is asking for a product serial number before it will download. Any suggestions, other than buy a new camera?

What camera are you using?

DPP 4 is only compatible with Canon's latest Full Frame cameras (e.g., 1DX, 5D3) and the 7D2. You will have to input the SN for one of those cameras before you can download.

So it offers nothing for my 5D2?

Nope. Here's the compatibility list from Canon:

Digital Photo Professional 4.1 supports EOS 7D Mark II, EOS-1D X, EOS-1D C, EOS 5D Mark III, EOS 6D and is a genuine, Canon-made application for browsing, selecting, and developing RAW images.

You can still use Version 3.xxx with your 5D2 though.

On the bright side, Christmas is coming! Maybe Santa will bring you a new 5D3 or 7D2! :D

Shame on Canon for terminating support of Win XP, not only with DPP 4, but also with DPP 3 beyond 3.14.15.

Would Santa also bring a new computer, set up รก la carte, with partitioning, apps installed and all?

Even Microsoft doesn't support XP any longer.

True, but their reason seems more valid... :)

This link takes me to the Canon site. When I try to download the DPP software for my 7D2, I get an error message that "there is no software available for your operating system". I am running the newest version of Mac OS (which is detected and already chosen in the operating system drop down menu. I am on a 2013 iMac.

What am I missing? How do I go about downloading the software so that I can process raw images?

Thanks for your help.

Wm.

I just checked that link and when you click on Mavericks, there are loads of updates, but on Yosemite, there is nothing available.

Yes. I am using Yosemite. No option available to download the Canon software, therefore impossible to process 7Dii files - EVEN WITH CANON software.
