Okay. Another cheesy one I will start with.

Went to the mailbox to get the daily mail. Sun was real low so I thought i would get a shot of the traffic.

Beautiful flower, Ricardo and I like those shots, Pete.

I woke up this morning and saw that the moon was going to set right about the time it got light out. Before I got coffee this morning I was grabbing my tripod and swapping lenses. They're not the best pictures, but I was barely awake.

This is pretty much what caught my attention this morning.

Wow, more impressive pairs of shots of things moving or rotated.

I set up two scenes today. EDIT, July 2017: In the absence of Photobucket images, I'm editing this post down to just one of those scenes.

Great stormy spring pics Richard.

Nice Stina, but that sure looks early in the morning to have to get up.

I especially like your nail shots Oh.

Nice ones Pete.

Nice, I really like the nail shots as well as the texture of the first ribbon shot.

Thank you, OldCrow and it is too early to get up. I try and make up for it on the weekends though. ;)

Thank you, Crow.

Pete, nice variety.

Stina, those moon shots are lovely. We haven't seen the morning moon for several days...lots of clouds on the western horizon.

Oh, I love that nail shot. A terrific example of limited DOF!

I tried to find differences between those two, thinking they must be variations on point of view, until I gave up and went to your next post. :p Good idea, using far and near together.

Thanks, Ricardo! (Sorry about all this repetition.) I thought a shallow DoF would work well with those. Had to use manual focus because the subject was so narrow. The G15's AF loves backgrounds.

Stina, I have been looking for the moon shot myself, but it just hasn’t happened for me. Great capture.

OhLook, the nail shot is awesome; a winner in my book. I have been waiting to see what kind of great idea you’ll come up with, and you didn’t disappoint. My G11 also loves backgrounds. I know what you mean.

PeteD, the closeup of the plant is very catchy.
