get the dock and save yourself a load of headaches. Then once sorted sell the dock again for almost no loss. Thats what I done when I had this lens. Spent ages messing about with in camera MFA first getting more and more frustrated then got the dock and sorted it in an hour.

^^^^ Protip!

Thanks again, that seems like a big help! I just picked up the dock on my lunch break, so I'll give it a try over the weekend. I'm assuming the Magic Lantern Dottune method would work on other lenses too?

Based on my limited shooting last night, I'm really liking the colour and contrast of the lens. Can't wait to give it a real go on the weekend.

Dot tune method will work with any lens for your in camera MFA setting. One thing I didnt check was if magic lantern was compatible with the 6D now. Also my how to is dated a bit now and I think dottune comes as a standard feature so you may be able to ignore the nightly build part of the guide. Im hopefully going to be installing magic lantern on my 5DIII in the next day or so but havent checked yet

Installed ML last night and seems to work fine. They don't have a stable version right now, but the nightly build gets positive reviews. Thanks again Eddie, and sorry for hijacking the thread. Hope to be contributing pics soon!
