Should we both update our 7D2 cameras with both 3.14.45 AND 4.1.1, or does the latest one 4.1.1 combine these? Are both different 'animals'  Thanks for the help here, you all.  Just because the disc came with the camera doesn't mean it's up to date or bug free. The latest version of firmware contains the previous fixes.

Happens with all new bodies as the first-buyers are mass beta-testers for Canon
