We have a new addition at our house......a tuxedo cat who stayed for dinner (poached on the food of our semi-feral cat) one day, and stayed, and stayed.......
Once the wife named the rascal, "Inky, I knew he was not going away....Joe

Just a quick question that I already know the answer to (but I know I'll keep thinking if I don't ask), does everyone find the MP count of this camera to be plenty? I have yet to print anything bigger than a 20x30, but I have one print at that size from my 20D which looks great to me, so I figured 12mp should be plenty, but I'm curious on owners thoughts.

Do you feel that it gives you enough fine detail compared to other larger MP cameras like a 5D2/3 or 6D?

I ask because I'm getting ready to sell my 6D for a Sony a7S and of course the internet likes to pretend that 12mp is completely useless for stills... just want to shake that nonsense out of my head before I commit

I have never found lack of mp to get in my way, then again I mainly shoot on the wide side and rarely crop much.

Nothing wrong with chubby pixels.

If it is something what "keeps on thinking" the cure might be to save the image as 12MP and print from it at large size. I only printed once something in proximity to 20x30.
Most of my prints are 8x10. And they looks yummy.
