Soon I'll be traveling with a 10+ hours fly and plan to read a book regarding wedding photography posing. Please recommend a posing must-read book. TIA!

Louder than words - Joe Navarro

A great book to understand body language.

Thanks Peter. It sounds like a great book, I will pick it up.
Any recommendation on wedding posing book? I am running out of poses and don't want to repeat myself too much in the next coming year.

I never read any literature to do with wedding photography. If you want to learn how to pose people really well you need to look at high end fashion work.

If I had a 10-hour flight, I would surely use the entire thing for editing images on my laptop.

I was thinking about RV's book as well but I thought I should check with the Pro here. Thank you Mirrorrim.

My crazy plan is catching up with all gigs before my trip so I can really enjoy the VAC. :)

Just got this. Not for my photography, but just in general.
Interesting read so far!

It is a great book. Understanding people and body language is paramount in what we do IMO. Not only does this book help understand how different body positions come across, but also sensing when clients are not comfortable etc.

I've also found a lot of the information handy in prospective client meetings too and walked away from some possible jobs based on what I've picked up from the couple during the meeting.

I've read more than half the book and it definitely is intriguing and potentially powerful when dealing with people regardless of profession.
