Anyone have an everyday life photos to share? You know the non 400-1200mm glass of something other football, wildlife or planes? Those are awesome pics but not a whole hell allot of people have access to those things. The 7D1 thread is diverse as all heck, hope to see that happen here before we roll 200 pages....

Here is part of my everyday life about 20 minutes ago using a 20mm prime.

OK. Im not really sure what to think. Does this look out of focus? Because i uploaded in LR and do a 100% zoom and it looks soft. This is SOOC besides the crop. Shot on AV, ISO 400, 127mm, F7.1 and 1/1250 with a Canon 70-200 F4. I know i was kinda in a bad position. I have the full uncropped version to if anybody want to see it. My focus points were on the bottom.

Does not look particularly sharp. However the softness could be due to atmospheric conditions.

How would the atmospheric conditions cause it? Not arguing, just curious.

Heat distortion/haze/particles in the air/ect. Also the shutter speed on that shot seems a bit slow? I'm not sure though, don't really photograph airplanes. Cool shot though!

Yeah heat haze could've effected it some. SS could've been a little faster. Thanks

was kind of confused with all the posts so hope this helps. These were shot JPEG format and imported in LR. LR accepted and let me process. From what I was reading, i thought i was going to have to open these in DPP.......LR works with JPeg files

Mike, how's that 135L working out on the M2? I'm looking to pick one up to match with my M2, really drawn the the extra stop over a 2.8. Hoping to start with the 18-35 f/1.8 (probably 70% of my shots were at 35/50 when I shot FF), the 18-135 kit for a nice daylight walk around, and the 135l to begin with before adding any missing lenses from the lineup (afterwards looking at the 50 1.4, the 100l macro, and the 200 2.8).

I searched through this thread and found several questions regarding moving the exposure meter from the side to the bottom of the display, but no one had a solution yet. Has anyone found a way to do that yet or am I stuck with it on the side?

My 135 seems to work fine. Haven't used it a ton yet. Although, you may consider looking into a 85 1.4 instead. The 135 is awesome, but can be a bit long. Also 1.4 would give you even more light.

Seems like you're stuck with it. Which is almost inconceivable in a camera so complex that they won't allow it to be configurable.
