Hi cogs v,
The B&W looks great, but I always prefer colour, but that's just me.
Interesting you live in Drayton, that's were my wife is from.

i snapped this one during a recent mission into town. not the best image to display the powers of the 70-200 2.8 or of the 7d. it's very hard to get a good clean, sharp picture inside of a moving tactical vehicle and through 3 inch thick bullet proof glass..

anyways, i always feel bad for these young children, so innocent, so simple.

pic taken just outside kandahar city, afg.

alright,it's been a while but i finally bought the Haida 10 stop nd filter..for those who are looking into getting a Lee Big Stopper but is on a budget..i highly recommend this one..it's a fraction of the price! i've read nothing but good reviews on it..
here is my first outing with it..wanted to test it out and see if it left a blue color cast like the Lee does..as far as i can see,it does not..i will do more test shots with it whenever i get a chance to do so...this one was a 90 second exposure at f/16 about 30 minutes before the sun went down tonight,so it was still pretty bright out..so far i am really happy with it..

Nice! I just bought a cheepy 10 stop too, but I haven't had a chance to use it. The color cast on it can't be any more dramatic than my B&W 10 stop. lol
