I haven't read any of the other threads so I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but the LR update to import the 7D2 files is up.

Edit: Duh, I should have read this string closer instead of getting excited and posting this.

John if you see vignetting in any shot I have taken its because I put it there

I kind of figured that was the case. I don't know if you saw the shot but my vignetting is a thick band on both edges. I know it wasn't that heavy on the 7D or at least think it wasn't I will try to remember to get the RAWs organized for a comparison to make sure I am not imagining. I am just trying to make sure that I know all is well.

I resemble that remark; Man created GPS just so we never have to ask for directions!

John if you see vignetting in any shot I have taken its because I put it there

...maybe I missed it, haven't seen it mentioned, but in the camera under the Image menus, under Lens aberration correction is Peripheral Illumination correction. If the camera has the correctional data for the lens you are using, it will disappear the vignetting in camera. I prefer doing it myself, if at all, in LR.

I so can't make up my mind....do I want the 7DII as an accessory to my 7D and get out of the full frame world...or keep a mix of both FF and crop...I love my 7D, been shooting a lot more with it lately...

does anyone with the 7DII do astrophotography or long exposures...I do a LOT of LE and would really like to see how the 7DII fares with 2+ minute exposures....
