I have had a pair of Northern Cardinals hanging around since November 1st, which is a record! Hope they stay all winter! The male flew into a nearby shrub, but the female played nice!

She sure is pretty Sandy, looks cold there! I hope they stay for the winter, if you keep them fed everyday, it will help. #3 for me too.

Thanks John, Red, and Brett. It was cold, and very windy. I was hoping to get shots with the snow backdrop, but that will happen another day. They are fed daily, and always have fresh heated water!

There will be days when you get the shot(s) you missed days, months or years before.

Thank you Cheryl, Jeff, Ted, John, and Al. I managed to get quite a few additional shots of her yesterday. She kept moving from branch to branch. Sometimes she would be sitting on just one leg. I sure hope they stick around, though I didn't see them today.

I just noticed on Flickr, that my third image from above was selected to be on "Explore" which is a first for me! I was puzzled when I saw how many times it had been viewed!
