It has been quite a week so far, and it is only Wednesday. Do you ever get that feeling after a months-long project is finally over that you don't know what to do? Me either. There are always ducks, somewhere.

This spot was a new one for me and it was surprising how many species I found. The species identified were Gadwalls, Teal, Mallard, Geese, Swans, Shovelers, and my absolute favorite, Pintails. Most of the birds were too far off to photograph, but I was able to find this Sprig close enough to capture. I have dreamed of finally having them in close, and it paid off today. While there is always plenty of room for improvement, I was able to check this one off of the bucket list today. Thanks for looking.

I really like the blurred wing, and the background color!

Great job. Different image for sure. Like you I'm sure, wish the face was more visible, but this is a nice shot

Thank you! As bright as it was, I could have used some more.

Ditto. Thanks for the comment. While the image is not perfect by any means, I am looking forward to my next encounter. Being able to photograph Pintails was a dream for me. I will be back soon!
