Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens, here in SoCal... This was actually a small flower on top of a very large cactus in the 'Desert Oasis' section on the grounds... 7D2 + 200 1.8L + 48mm Drop-In CPL + Kenko Pro DGX 2x TC and 36mm Extention Tube (stacked)... ISO 800, f/16 @ 1/400sec...

is that ghost pepper? my cousin thought it was a good idea to grow ghost pepper at my mom's garden. looks a bit similar to that. It's basically not edible and should only be used for contest eating. The spice heat is a very high level, and it has like no taste, just heat type spice. You can use less ghost pepper to get the same concentration spice, but none of the associated flavor, which makes it unusable.

Yeah... I'll have to get the 100-400 as well, but I'll wait until spring. Won't want the 100-400ii until April/May for next airshow.
