I know what you mean by feeling honored.

I've only seen two owls so far. I saw a great horned owl early one morning just as the day was dawning and a barred owl after sunset when it was still a bit dusky. I had recently purchased my 60D and 70-300L and was able to get some nice shots of the latter.

I was hooked. I love getting out there in nature and observing the various species who have learned to adapt. By that I mean..... they have survived the human invasion. ;)
