I would have put "for parts" in the title. Many eBayers don't read descriptions.

It's clear the lens is not working and it is VERY visible.

Yep.. You want to buy it *LOL*... There is something loose and I believe that is the issue with the lens.

Famous last words before seller gets negged. If it doesn't work, say that IN THE TITLE. Don't expect eBay to bail you out.

"Rokinon 8 mm.. As is.. Something is making a noise when you turn it upside down $50.00 ebay"

you're being extremely vague and go from "makes noise" to "broken", sorry for finding it very hard to understand.

Noted though, I'll keep all this in mind if you ever post in the F/S forum.

Why did you cancel the $150 bid? Did the bidder contact you and tell you they didn't realize it was "for parts"?

I canceled one bid because he thought it was a Nikon lens. It was early in the Auction and not at $150.00

Did you open your eBay account on December 17, 2001?

Yep the focus issue is why I moved to EBAY and selling for parts. If I SOLD it to a member here, then there is a concern.

It would confirm that I'm looking at the correct auction, which has a canceled proxy bid of $150 clearly showing on the bid history page. The price at the time of cancellation was $54.

If someone bid double what you think the lens is worth, and asked to cancel only because it was the wrong mount, do you really think everybody is seeing that it's "for parts"? There were two "for parts" Rokinon fisheyes sold in the last month; neither reached $135, much less $150.

I just sent him a message.. I have to agree... Having ( for parts ) in the description would have been wise.
