I'm talking about the forum's new look... TBH, I prefer the old version.. this new one looks gay, and it makes me dizzy... sorry...

Yeah change does seem a bit strange - biggest problem for me is that all my PM's have disappeared!!!

I was recently scammed and was using messages to cooperate with action fraud in the UK and now all messages have gone :/

Give it time. Changes in forum software for any community always ends up being weird for some people.

I'm still in my 'first view' mode, and so far not completely thrilled with the styling of the main view, but I've seen far, far worse. I'm sure that by next week I won't even notice.

Reminds me of the old About.com forums format. Not a fan of this change at all.

Well I'm going to be different and say I really like it. Looks much more modern. The old one was seriously dated looking.

This isn't the worst forum change I've seen, but it's going to take some getting used to. While I mostly like the design, some of the things in this new system seem pretty superfluous or unnecessary.

The thing that's bugged me the most so far is the "Post #17300864, 6 min. ago: Dec 01, 2014 13:10:51" in every single reply. It's just information overload. We don't need a post ID or a timestamp down to the second. The vBulletin implementation was much more elegant.

I'm sure the functionality of AMASS is great, but it looks like it was designed by a programmer.

Dated looking but worked VERY VERY well! This format looks like it was from the Yahoo ChatRoom days from the mid 90's.....

A/S/L anyone?

Look at high end sites like Reddit whats straight up old school, simple and easy!

Something I also just noticed: I miss the "go to newest unread post" button that vBulletin had for threads. Yeah, AMASS has a "last page" link, but it was nice to be sent right to the newest unread post in a thread.

So far, this is the thing I miss the most. It does look a little funny so far. One of the best thing about forums is their simplistic look. I do like the ability to hide stickies.

On second look, it seems that the software does first unread post by default. However, it also seems that all of the posts are unread by default so the new software doesn't know when you last looked at a post.
