Go to bottom of page https://photography-on-the.net/forum/index.php and see what it reads there.

Thanks! That is EXACTLY what I was wanting to do. That just made me like this format even more. Great job!

Is there any way to change out the font on the main section titles? I can adjust to most of the visual changes, but that handwritten font is disturbing in the same way "Comic Sans" is. I would prefer a simple clean bold sans serif font.

I have to say my initial reaction is that I hate this new format. The old format was perfect.

I'll give it a try though.

With the old format, I could click on my subscribed threads, and see them listed in order of which had the most recent post, and if it was a post I hadn't read the thread title was in bold. I can't see any way to do this now.

Any ideas anyone....?

Thanks

Pekka will have to answer that, I believe those might be images? I cannot find a way to do it, and that didn't come up during beta testing, that I recall.

I am with you 100%.. The script / comic sans thing is probably my biggest pet peeve (which is tiny, considering how much cool stuff there is).

It's in "new and followed" but first you need to follow all your old subscriptions. To follow your old subscriptions go to "for your eyes only"

there is a link a page or two earlier on this thread about where to import old subscribed threads.

then once you have subscribed, on the top menu of "New and Followed" you can simply view a list of your own and followed threads - viewed with the most recent responses at the top....

you can also on that list on the right, select if you want a real-time notification of when a thread has been responded to, or not.

1st click on the link https://photography-on-the.net …/import_subscriptions.php which is found in the For Your Eyes Only link and import your old subscriptions. Then simply click the New and Followed link on top and click the FOLLOWED AND OWN THREADS selection.

To add to this for others, the index at the top has New and Followed. Go to that page to see what all is new for posts/threads, as well as your followed posts/subscriptions. You can toggle between the 2 views using the filter at the top.

Well, It's good to know I'm not the only one! I thought about putting this in the feedback section, or responding to the Questions Questions thread started by Pekka, but I'm getting the feeling he's not in a good mood right now ( probably from lack of sleep). He obviously worked hard on this, but.........
What used to be so easy to read, clear, concise, and easier to navigate, is not anymore. To me this is just a jumbled mess, put together by someone practicing their handwriting!
I know, some (mostly moderators) say you'll get used to it! Why? When I signed up 2 years ago (my husband wouldn't let me post using his name!) the website was so well organized, I didn't have to learn anything, it was simple, straightforward, and easy to use.
Right now, the new format just makes me want to cry!
If you could at the very least, give me a choice of font size for the entire website, instead of just the thread section, might help a lot of us out!!!!
Sorry, Pekka, not everyone is a fan!

New rules require you to have more posts before viewing and posting in the market section.
