It's a lot (A LOT) of changes. Some of us have been here a decade or more, so it's going to take some getting used to.. but what do you like so far about the new software?

Personally, I think the gallery / metadata / gear list integration is brilliant. This is going to be so useful.. I can already see the day where I go to find some sample images taken with a 5D2 and 35L at 1.8 and ISO 800-1600.. so many options for all of that data! :) I'd love to see a tie in to the Flickr API for importing exif info, but I'm sure it's in the plan eventually.

I really like the gallery view too, and how you can narrow it down by forum. The search feature is MUUUUCH more flexible than VB ever was, so that's great as well..

What else do you like?

(also, am I the only one that took a LOOONG time to realize 'AMASS' meant the actual verb, to amass? I thought it was an abbreviation for something..)

I was just looking through posts and it really is great being able to see the metadata and not having to ask which lenses etc. This to me is probably one of the best features. I'm having some issues with linking directly from 500px, it shows my image but the user id info is not my account and links to another users 500px account. Not sure what is going on there but I can just do flickr anyways. I like being able to customize the forums, rearrange/hide.

Yeah! The drag and drop / re-ordering of the forums is awesome.. I wish you could mix and match and pull sub-forums instead of just groups, but as is it's very useful.

Just found this!! Your last 50 search entries are saved.. just open the history and click and search, no need to re-type everything in again.. so useful!

I like being able to click anywhere in the white space on the left or right hand
side of the page and instantly be taken right back up to the top of the page.

Welcome!

Another option I like pretty well so far is the "Reading Glasses Lost" option
in the "Change Body Text Size For All Thread Pages" link close to the bottom
of the page. It makes the Text in posts, almost bold, but not too much, and bigger.
It helps separate the relevant text from the rest for easier reading for me!

I like that it looks like a website from the 90's and is harder to get around.

oh, wait, I don't think like means what I think it means.

4 things so far.

1. The activity tracker is right there all the time.

2. When you click on new post notifications it takes you to the last post so setting to 50 post pages is not necessary anymore.

3. You can click on the post number (at the bottom of a post), copy and past it as a direct link. That is an easy button.

4. Optional Text sizes.

Like others have said it is a little dizzying at first but it is just as matter of getting used to it.

What I love so far:

- that you're able to sort forums and areas

What I don't like so far:

- the title font (handwriting) of the forums...poor choice in my opinion

I really like and appreciate what has been done overall. In the nit-picking dept., clicking on the margins does not work on my tablet. That is probably a very tiny nit and it is not a big deal. When I click on a photo to see it larger, it expands out nicely, on my tablet, but I lose the ability to move around the photo, to see the detail. This is probably a problem with using a tablet and may or may not be a problem for all tablets. My tablet is a Motorola Xoom with all system upgrades, by the way.

I really want to stress tbat I have been having a good time exploring the new interface and am enjoying my time here. POTN has been an immense resource for me as I go about my photography.

This is very opinion based... I've been on my LG G2 all night posting here and it is a huge improvement to how navigation used to be on mobile. This is a heaven-sent.
