Can't see Classifieds: Buy

It's a shame because I have bought so much from here oh well

I wish there was a way to verify our feedback and give us a go-ahead. That would be pretty awesome.

In the same situation and I've purchased several things here recently.

member for over 7 years.. and bought lots of stuff on here... only need 75 more posts to look at the for sale...im going to have to post some useless stuff...lots of nice pics...

Im going to be sarcastic here, but the logic is that once I hit 100 post, im less likly to scam anyone?

thinking would be easier to go elsewhere to scam people than make 100 posts here would be the theory?

or a scammer would not even know about the buy/sell as they cant see it.. wouldent even know its there.

What's weird is, when I first logged in earlier today, when the new forum was up and running, I swear I COULD see buy and sell, because I remember there being five subforums under the Marketplace catagory in the new format. Then I left the forum for a while this evening, and came back, and wham, two subforums were gone, leaving only three remaining. I guess it felt like sitting in first class when you know you have a coach ticket, and all the while hoping the train conductor doesn't notice. But when you return to your seat after using the lavatory, you find your stuff has been moved back into steerage, where you belong.

At least I got to see the china, even though I couldn't actually use it.

Ive been here for years buying equipment from many members. This new rule is kinda lame for people whose been here for years but doesnt post much.

I guess that I'm in the same boat as everyone else...been lurking around for a bit, bought stuff before but don't have enough posts to do so now. It's a shame, for the sellers, that the change took place right before X-mas since I was looking to buy quite a bit of stuff if available but unless I get to posting that business will go elsewhere.

So after 6 years on here and only a few posts, I'm suddenly going to start scamming people? Did find a way around it without having to make a ton of empty posts - went to Fred Miranda and bought the MK IV I was looking for.

I'm a new member...and I get the purpose of the rule, but I've already bought with positive feedback. I'm also in THE MIDDLE of a trade and can't see my own listing that I made in the marketplace before the switch. I presume it has been deleted. 180 days/100 posts is ridiculous. Fortunately, I was able to get in contact with the user I am trading with and make arrangements. Anyone want to buy my Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 non-VC?
