I love old barns.

Have lived in Alberta for a number of years and discovered many old barns in my travels.

Great picture

I generally agree, but it's commission work for an interior designer. We serve the client. (And you would likely be sickened and horrified to see some of the more garish iterations we tested.)

Is it going to be used in some art piece? That's the only reason I could think of why you'd do something like that!!!

I haven't seen the final product. But I know I've nailed the vision. Is it art? Is it still photography? Debatable. Is the customer satisfied? Yes. So I'm happy with it.

As long as the client's happy and you've delivered what they want, that's what really counts in the end.

But, my goodness....it looks like Willy Wonka should be striding out of it. It's GOTTA be for some sort of art deco theme.

The initial request was a photo of a list of barns, "Colored like an Andy Warhol painting."

Well, given your explanation about what the client wanted, you definitely did a good job.

People want weird things sometimes. Good on you for getting it done for them, even if it is....odd.
