Thanks!
Fact is, I sometimes get tired of Canikon guys, especially the FF jocks, trashing 4/3s, but as long as you don't expect too much at high ISO settings, the E-M1 can deliver! I usually try to shoot at ISO 400, 800 in a pinch, in order to still have room to crop. That is nothing in FF terms, but there are clear advantages to the 4/3 and m4/3 system. Check out my post here and you will see what I mean:
https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=17303937

As usual, it all depends on what you do and what you need. Many of us Oly guys felt let down that Olympus put all their eggs into the mFT basket rather than bring out an E-7 with the same sensor as the E-M1 but with an improved AF system. The 7DII looks to me pretty much what the E-7 could have been... if they had only left out the AA filter!

Yes, I really enjoy my Olympus m4/3 cameras, they have excellent IQ and are so convenient and easy to carry. I'm glad the forum has this section now so that those of us who have additional equiptment besides our Canon gear can post things.

Hmmm. Interesting. Some strange banding/artifacts happened with the upload.

That's an excellent set of images! The look of them reminds me a lot of how the Canon 135mm f/2 looks. What lens (or lenses) were you using for these?

Thank you - as it happens the 135 is my favourite lens and one of the reasons I've not let the 5D3 go yet, so thats a great compliment :)

Its a variety of lenses but mostly the 75 1.8 & the 12-40 2.8 - when the gear section has more Oly kit I'll update them properly, but until then all the exif data is available on flickr.

These are all really nice vibrant shots, and a very nice black and white image also.

Very nice shots, and I agree, the OMD's are terrific cameras.
