I’m looking for something different for my new camera and it has to be comfortable. I have a camo Crumpler Industry Disgrace which is pretty unique and very comfortable. It helped support my gripped 5D MKII with 580EX II and 70-200 f/2.8 for the past four years, so I’m looking for something just as cool and that isn’t bad like the OEM straps that come with a camera. My village called. I was told that they missed me.

They distribute the weight on the opposite shoulder very well and allow the camera to hang by your side and be lifted quickly to your eye. I use one with a gripped 7D MK II and a Tamron 150-600mm and can carry this rig for hours without fatigue. I'm so terrified of this company going under or discontinuing this model that I've stockpiled enough of them to last me forever. The strap is basically just that. A 1 inch wide adjustable length strap that connects to the camera via a robust quick release system. It allows for an excellent distribution of weight for heavier gear and also lets you swing the camera up to your eye instantly without resistance. Best of all as a mostly travel photographer myself it provides excellent security allowing the camera to be concealed discreetly around your back/side/front and/or hidden by your arm or held directly with your hand at you side. The design offers little opportunity for cut and/or grab and run artists. Highly recommended. Sometimes not taking a photograph can be as problematic as taking one. - Alex Webb
