David; you missed your chance in a big way. I would have started off by explaining that the small gyroscope in the base of the tripod head, controls the framus in the back leg which has a sensor... hehehe

MalVeauX "Looks rough and well used" ![]() More info Post edited over 6 years ago by MalVeauX. (2 edits in all) | Dec 03, 2014 18:30 | #8319 Slow. Even with a fast lens, the EOS-M is a pretty slow to focus system compared to even an entry dSLR's AF system through the view finder. I found it had a hard time focusing on a few shots, where it should have been easy, but it kept having trouble figuring out what was in the white square box. It's generally accurate with the 22F2 pancake, but with big telephotos, it seems to have a harder time figuring things out. Also, very difficult to view the LCD when in bright sunlight. Also, super awkward to use it with a telephoto lens, just weird to hold and use, makes making it steady difficult. I'm sure someone else could do better there, I'm just not used to it. I mainly just keep using it in different configurations to try it out, stretch it's legs, step outside of my comfort zone. ![]() ![]() ![]() And... EOS-M with 600mm Tamron: IMAGE LINK: https://flic.kr/p/pkDdxC ![]() ![]() ![]() Very best,
