#1has far more detail in the shot. However both are excellent though.

After reading thru entire thread, have to agree w/...well...everyone! As photog's., we don't like clipped wings, but as a viewer, both shots grab your attention.

No doubt for me, number one wins hands down. The action is better, and the whole bird is shown in the image. Plus it has a bit of a reflection present...bonus!

First of all.....that has to be the most photographed Eagle at Conowingo. Clearly From Massachusetts and a very active bird indeed. The first shot embodies what " The Dam" is all about. I have not made it down there yet, but I'm betting that bird will make its way back up here and possibly stop off at the Oradell Reservoir.
Nice shot!!!

ps. I really like the new format. It's a nice change from FM.
