Actually color/contrast is worse compared to say 35mm f1.4 or the 23mm f1.4. But those can be fixed in pp. With recent rebates it was at a nice price that I picked it. Here is a quick shot with it @f1.2, 1/60, ISO1600.

I believe right now you can get the 56mm for around $850 new. Sucks since I paid full price for mine when it first came out lol.

My two lenses are currently the 23mm and 56mm, and are both excellent lenses. I previously had the Zeiss 32mm, but sold it in lieu of the 23mm. I may eventually get the Fuji 35mm to fill the gap.

Was relaxing around the house during sunset the other day and noticed the light coming through this window as it does everyday. Somehow I never thought to photography the abstract look it provides. I had to crop slightly odd to provide a clean image without some of the ugliness around this location. Both shot with the X-T1 and 56.

It's just a panel of glass windows next to our front door. I took a crappy cell phone picture to show it, this was around sunset so you can see the light patterns on the wall. Thanks for the comment! I almost picked up a x100, but decided I'd be better off with the 23mm lens instead and the fall discounts won that decision. Still wouldn't mind getting one someday.
