Here's one I took with this lens. PP included smart sharpen and a run thru neat image.

PHOTOBUCKET EMBEDDING IS DISABLED BY THIS MEMBER.
Photobucket sends ads instead of embedding photos from their free galleries.

Yes, it does come with its own tripod collar. It is not too heavy for me but it would depend on your own strength and build and how long you were going to be carrying it.

How about 1/40 sec. on a 70-200 IS with the Canon 1.4x II and Tamron SP 2x TCs on. 100% crop from a 5D. RSP with stock processing options. It stands up to optical abuse pretty well.
